Front Room (Snug)

The front room will be a very comfy cosy little room mostly used in winter. It will have projector facilities so we can watch films in there. It will have a sofa bed in it so that when people come to stay it can be used as a private bedroom.
This grey one from Ikea is perfect and will go with the shabby chic theme I'm imagining in there. £575

Alfie's room

We could have a mural on his walls of a Thomas Tank engine scene with a tunnel and then put this bed as if it's the train coming out of the tunnel.

This could be used to create stained glass window effect somewhere or there are lots of funky designs for other small windows that may have rubbish views or that we may not want anyone to be able to see into. Like a bathroom window or a hall/front door window.

Living Walls.
A living wall, or a green wall,  is a garden that grows vertically, as opposed to horizontally, which can exist inside or outside the home. Any well lit place inside your home, would make a suitable environment. Indoor herb gardens are growing in popularity and thrive well in sunny kitchens. Conversely any outside wall would do as well.

Something like this would look great if the mirror was replaced with a massive one that covers the whole space. It would really go with the wild meadow flowers in the picture above.



Obviously there would need to be 2 of these!!

 

 

I've included this picture because I think that bookcases (obviously creosoted or some other weather-resistant paint) would make a great garden divider to define sections of the garden.

I like the garden bar. The shed...not so much, but it came as one picture.
